Fortune Boutique Hotel (Longyan Wanda Plaza Branch)

Fortune Boutique Hotel (Longyan Wanda Plaza Branch) is located in the core business district of Longyan, Fujian. Positioned as a mid-range business boutique hotel, it targets business travelers and leisure consumers in the business district, with a total of 120 boutique guest rooms. To build a differentiated experience amid homogeneous competition in the business district, while meeting the demand for low-interference renovation at operating properties, the hotel adopted Xiamen Shifenzhi fully wireless smart room control system to complete the intelligent upgrade of guest rooms.

I. Core Project Requirements

  • As the hotel is in operation, the intelligent upgrade shall avoid damaging the original decoration through slotting and wiring, minimize the construction period, and reduce the impact on normal business operations;

  • Create a convenient and efficient smart stay experience, adapt to the fast-paced stay habits of business travelers, and enhance the core competitiveness of the property;

  • Realize refined management of guest room lighting and air conditioning energy consumption, reduce ineffective energy consumption during unoccupied periods, and cut the operating cost per room;

  • The system shall have a low O&M threshold, allowing the hotel’s in-house engineering team to quickly master operation and reduce long-term reliance on the manufacturer for maintenance.

II. Customized Wireless Solution

Combined with the hotel’s operating renovation attribute and mid-range positioning, Shifenzhi provides a fully wireless smart room control solution for the project. Based on the VersLink wireless ad-hoc network protocol, it eliminates the need for weak current control wiring. The core configurations are as follows:

  • Distributed peer-to-peer networking architecture: Adopts a centerless peer-to-peer network architecture, where a single device failure does not affect the operation of the entire room system, delivering higher stability. Guest room devices automatically form a network after power-on; after connecting to the hotel’s private network, cloud-based remote management, OTA upgrades and troubleshooting can be realized, greatly reducing on-site O&M workload.

  • Full-scene wireless smart control: Equipped with wireless identity-recognition card-insertion power supply. After inserting the card, the welcome mode is triggered automatically: corridor lights and main lights turn on sequentially, and electric curtains open synchronously. Wireless integrated smart panels are installed at the bedside, supporting one-touch switching between multiple scenes (bright, reading, leisure, sleep) with synchronized linkage of lighting, curtains and air conditioning. Matching wireless temperature control panels can precisely adjust the room temperature to meet the comfort needs of different guest groups.

  • Wireless digital service interaction: Wireless multi-functional electronic door displays are installed at room entrances, which synchronously show room status, Do Not Disturb, Please Clean Up and Please Wait states, and are intelligently interlocked with the doorbell function. Service instructions are synchronized to the hotel management backend in real time via wireless network, shortening the service response chain and improving the collaboration efficiency between the front desk and the housekeeping department.

  • Lightweight cloud management backend: Equipped with a B/S architecture guest room management platform, supporting real-time room status monitoring, energy consumption data statistics, remote device debugging, service work order processing and other functions. Management staff can perform daily management of all guest rooms via the web terminal without installing a dedicated client, with a low operation threshold.

III. Project Implementation Value

Low-interference rapid deploymentThe wireless solution eliminates weak current wiring and requires no slotting or wall decoration demolition. With a short construction period, single-room renovation can be completed quickly, minimizing the impact on the hotel’s normal operations and perfectly fitting the intelligent upgrade needs of existing mid-range hotels.

Differentiated experience upgradeScene-based one-touch control simplifies operation logic, adapting to the efficient stay habits of business travelers. Smooth lighting and curtain linkage plus precise temperature control create a comfortable stay environment, helping the hotel gain a technological experience advantage over competitors in the business district.

Effective energy cost controlCard-insertion power supply links with all controlled power circuits in the room, paired with smart air conditioning operation strategies, effectively eliminating ineffective energy consumption during unoccupied periods, helping the hotel reduce guest room operating costs and increase profit margins.

Worry-free and efficient long-term O&MThe distributed architecture ensures that single-point failures do not disrupt the overall system. With remote O&M capabilities, the hotel’s in-house engineering team can handle most daily issues, resulting in lower long-term O&M costs and manpower input.
